About Just For One Day
Just For One Day is a jukebox musical that narrates the behind-the-scenes story of Live Aid, the iconic 1985 benefit concert organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to aid famine relief in Ethiopia. Set against the backdrop of the 1980s, it tells how 70 artists and a global audience of 1.5 billion united for "the day rock 'n' roll changed the world".
Featuring iconic hits from artists who performed at the original event, including Queen, David Bowie, U2, Madonna, Elton John, and Paul McCartney.
Creative Team: Written by John O’Farrell (Mrs. Doubtfire) and directed by Luke Sheppard (& Juliet).
Location: Currently playing at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End until 7 February 2026.

Rhianne McCaulsky’s Journey to the West End
Rhianne McCaulsky is an alumna of Academy Arts, where she began her journey in performing arts. She went on to train at the Brit School and then at Arts Educational Schools (ArtsEd) in London, where she attended on an Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship. Here she honed her skills in acting, singing, and dance. Her training laid a strong foundation for her career in musical theatre, and she has since built an impressive resume.

Grease: Toured the UK and Ireland as Betty Rizzo in 2019.

Esme’s previous credits include:
Just For One Day: She is currently appearing in the West End original cast of the Live Aid musical as a Swing at the Shaftesbury Theatre (2025).
Sister Act: Portrayed Michelle and served as the first understudy for the lead role of Deloris Van Cartier in the 2023–2024 UK tour.
The Color Purple: Played Jarene in the critically acclaimed UK tour produced by
Curve and Birmingham Hippodrome.
Legally Blonde: Performed as an ensemble member and understudied the role of Paulette at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre in 2022.
