Classes are held in Epping, Ongar & Chelmsford. If you click on the classes tab on the menu you will find a list of the classes in each area.

All Academy Arts teachers have trained or are currently training at professional acting/performing arts schools. Many teachers have worked professionally in TV and the west end. All staff are DBS checked.

Yes. Every year the students perfom in a production at a local theatre. We strive to give them as near to a professional production experiece as possible and therefore we use professional head mics, lighting and technical equiptment and staff. It's always a great experience for the students, the staff and of course the audience.

We have recently launched Academy Unlimited, an adult theatre company which meet on Monday evenings at Zinc Arts, Ongar. There will be classes, workshops and rehearsals for professional standard shows.

At Academy Arts we do try to organise enjoyable events for the students and also their families. We run theatre trips to the west end or regional theatres often to see members of our alumni who are now working professionally, we run an annual family Christmas party with buffet and disco, we also organise other events such as days out with the kids. We also run holiday camps including a summer school. Summer school camps will be advertised on this website so keep checking in!
